Knit For Food Knit-a-thon
The Knit for Food Knit-a-thon is a 12-hour knitting marathon that raises funds and awareness for food insecurity. Makers around the country knit, crochet, and craft to support organizations working to end hunger.
Members of the Milford Makers Group will gather locally to participate together.
Woven Mug Rug Pop Up
During the Knit for Food Knit-a-thon gathering hosted by the Milford Makers Group, Milford Makes will host a hands-on craft pop-up.
Drop in and weave a small mug rug using a simple cardboard loom and colorful yarn.
Art & Craft Supply Donation Drive
Bring gently used art and craft supplies to support future Milford Makes workshops and community events.
We’re especially looking for embroidery thread, sewing notions, and other craft tools.
Pop-Up Art Leaders
We’re looking for volunteers to help lead Milford Makes pop-up art events. Working with you and your reuse workshop idea, we gather the materials and find the space, and you guide the activity. If you enjoy making art with others and creating a friendly, inclusive vibe, we’d love to hear from you.
